Katharine Mittel

I’m Katharine, owner and lead planner of Katharine Mann Events, based in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. With nearly a decade of experience in the wedding and event industry, I’ve had the joy of planning and designing over 250 weddings for couples across the Carolinas.

Since launching my business in 2016, I’ve had the privilege of collaborating with some of the top creative partners in the industry and building lasting relationships with my incredible clients. Creating thoughtful, timeless celebrations that reflect each couple’s story is truly my passion and I feel so lucky to call this my career.

Every wedding I plan is approached with care, creativity, and genuine heart. My goal is for each couple to feel completely supported and to know they’re part of the Katharine Mann Events family.

Hometown: Winston-Salem, North Carolina

School + Degree: Elon University — Sports & Event Management, Business Administration, and Art

Passions: Painting, golf, event planning, horseback riding, and gardening

Favorite things: Coffee (always), french fries, time with friends and family, my dogs… and did I mention coffee?

Favorite flowers: Lisianthus — in every color!

Favorite wedding trend: Bold mixed tablecloth patterns, upgraded rental chairs (always worth it!), custom painted or wallpapered bars.

Dillon Davis

Dillon began her career with Katharine Mann Events in January 2024. Dillon is extremely hard working, detail oriented and downright hilarious! When Dillon is not working with the KME team, you can find her reading a good book, spending time with her husband, or eating french fries with a Caesar salad. We are thrilled to have Dillon on our team, and we can’t wait for you to work with her.

School + Degree: UNC Chapel Hill, BA in Journalism & Media with a concentration in Graphic Design

Passions: Hosting, baking, organizing, giving the perfect gift, and authentic storytelling

Favorite things: Chosen community, Dr. Pepper, going to the movies, mini golf, thrifting and corn dogs

Favorite flower: Peonies

Favorite wedding trend: Branded bars, custom food packaging, and interactive guest activities

Judy Burrey Pearman

Judy began her career with Katharine Mann Events in 2025. With a background in interior design and a passion for watercolor artistry, she brings a fresh, creative perspective to every project. From hand-painted elements to unique design details, she helps transform ideas into elegant, one-of-a-kind events. When Judy is not working at KME, you can find her walking her adorable mini bernedoodle, working out at the yoga studio, or chowing down on some Chipotle. We love having Judy on our team, and can’t wait for you to work with her.

School + Degree: The University of North Carolina at Greensboro, Bachelor of Fine Arts in Interior Architecture

Passions: Painting/sketching, reading, running/fitness and soccer

Favorite things: Iced coffee, spending time with her husband and dog (Ollie), walks, and thrifting

Favorite flowers: White and green Hydrangeas

Favorite wedding trend: Watercolor venues, curated personal wedding details, and unique color palettes
